Hello everyone! Today I’m posting a review on Kellyn Roth’s ‘Goldfish Secrets’, which is her latest short story!
What I Thought About The MC:
Judy was very well written, although, even though I could tell she was young, her age was never mentioned, and so I couldn’t tell if her personality was realistic or not.
What I Thought About the Plot:
I was slightly confused about the mother and grandmother’s argument, but that was probably because I haven’t read The Lady of the Vineyard. Still, you actually don’t have to read it to read Goldfish Secrets, and I think that’s really great!
Other:
The singular thing that I was hesitant about was when there were Roman numerals at the end of the book. The short story felt like a younger kids book, and I don’t think that many young kids reading the book will understand what the weird symbols mean. Other than that, it was a really great short read!
Rating:
4/5!
What Now?
Wouldn’t it be so cool if you could also read this book and do a review? Well, you can! Find out more of the details right here!
Just know that the date it’s ‘due’ on is the twenty-second, so make sure you do it before then!
I hope you enjoyed this post! If you have any questions or thoughts, leave a comment down below.
Thanks for reading!
I have a quick question … there were just random Roman numerals at the end of the book? I probably need to fix that … 😛

Oh-oops, I should’ve been more specific: When you were talking about Marlie at the end there? That’s where it is. Sorry about that!

Other than that, I loved the book, though. It was very well written! 👏
